Lawmakers asking for Charges To Be Dropped Against 3 Navy SEALS

According to a report released by Fox News, www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/03/04/gop-lawmakers-seek-exoneration-seals-accused-abusing-terror-suspect/, 3 members of the elite U.S. Navy Seals have been brought up on charges steming from an arrest of an Al Queda terror suspect who killed and burned 4 contractors that were working in Iraq.

The Seals, Special Warfare Operators 2nd Class Matt McCabe and Jonathon Keefe are facing charges of assualt, dereliction of duty, and making false statements. Special Warfare Operator 1st Class Hueartas is facing charges of dereliction of duty, making false statements, and impeding an offical investigation.

Approximately 40 members of Congress have signed a petition demanding that the Department of the Navy to immediatley drop all the charges against these operators.

Ladies and gentlemen, I cannot believe that these operators were even charged with a crime. How in the world is this terror suspect even given the right to even receive any kind mercy. Did this terror suspect give any type of mercy when to the 4 kidnapped Blackwater Contrators. Did this terror suspect give the mercy to the contractors when he murdered them, then burned their bodies, then hung them from a bridge? Hell no he didn't and yet because he received a "fat" lip from the Seals, that the Seals are the ones who are now in trouble. What the hell is going on with our military? Have they forgotten already what these pieces of fecal matter did to us on 9/11? Has our military forgotten what their own soldiers are currently doing over there right now?

When I read this story all I could do was feel absolute outrage. Especially being a former U.S. Marine, it made me even more sick to my stomach to learn that the Department of the Navy were the ones who filed the charges. These special operators are the elite of the elite. Let them go and let them do the jobs that they are trained to do. Does every soldier fighting and dying over there need to worry every time that they come into contact with the enemy that they should'nt lay hands on the terrorist? If they do that then America better start producing more body bags because our country will need them to carry off all the innocent people that will be killed by these terrorist.

In my most humblest of opinions, that terror suspect should count his lucky stars that these operators just didn't kill him on sight.
