Let Me Clear My Throat

Hello classmates! Let me begin this entry by saying, hello to each and everyone of my new classmates and to say hello to classmates from last semester. Now with all of the pleasantries out of the way, let's begin.

What I am going to write about might be a sensative subject for some. I am going to write about my ex-wife and some of the things that she has been doing lately to just flat out hurt me and to piss me off. Before I begin please remember that I am only ranting and this is a good way for me to get some of this stuff off of my chest.

Some back history. My ex-wife and I have been divorced now for about 4 years and we share a a very handsome young man named Ethan who is our son. Ethan is my pride and joy. Now, like I stated earlier we have been divorced now for several years and like most divorces that occur in the U.S. our was not pretty. In fact it was so ugly that our divorce actually took close to 3 years to become final. Enough of the back history.

Since the divorce we actually have been having a great relationship. We have gotten along really well and in fact we have even been able to talk about some very sensative issues with each other. That was until three weeks ago.

Out of the blue my ex-wife all of a sudden has become the biggest "bitch" to have ever blessed this world. She not only has become very distant to me, but she has now starting to become distant with our son. I usually have him all the time anyway due to all the sports that he participates in, but she has not even tried to come to any of Ethan's most recent wrestling tournaments. Granted my ex-wife doesn't like sports. But come one. One could at least come to one tournament to watch their own kid compete in one of the most grueling sports in the world. She hasn't spent any "real" time with Ethan for over a month. Really not since Christmas. Case in point, Ethan placed first in the Carl Junction Tournament last weekend. When Ethan received his medal, I asked him if he wanted to call his mother and tell her the great news. Ethan responded by saying, "No, she would care to hear it."

I called my ex-wife after the tournament and realized some of the problem with her is that she has started drinking again. When I was talking to her all of our past history surfaced it's ugly head again and ever since that conversation Sunday I have been called stupid, a loser, and why would I be so dumb as to go back to school and get another degree. She has once again found her pleasure in belittling me and making me feel worthless. What's worse, is now she is forgetting about our son and making him feel run down and worthless too! According to my ex, everything is my fault because I left and divorced her.
